Do We Control Nature? will be an original interactive musical and visual installation developed by Guatemalan-born interactive artist, Jose Veliz. The installation will permit audiences to control and blend generative experimental music inspired by the four elements of nature: water, earth, wind, and fire. The changes in the music will be reflected through reactive projections, which will visually represent the blend chosen by audiences. Throughout the story cycle of the installation, audiences will explore the power of nature, its ability to bring about life and destruction, and ultimately reflect on the relationships humans have with nature.
